The Faridabad Police Crime Branch has registered a similar case. The WhatsApp accounts of more than 100 girls were hacked. He was being blackmailed by getting his chats. Police have arrested three people in the case. Their personal information and chats were hacked with the help of these girls' phone numbers. This is why they were being blackmailed.

Chat on WhatsApp is end-to-end encrypted. This means that no one can read the message except the sender and the recipient. Anyway, even if one of the sender or receiver makes a mistake, their chat can be hacked.
